SO this is my first time blogging and trying this out. I heard a lot about blogging but never tried so I figures...what the Heck need to Vent to someone or something, right? So here I am venting!
I am obviously a Cops Wife and needed and outlet for he frustration I have regarding his J O B and LACK of PAY...that is right you read right LACK OF PAY...I am sick of it!
I meet my husband at 23 which was NOT a Cop at the time he worked in the "business" world. Life was good...he was a 23 year old man working and making good money BUT then the company got sold and he was out of a job. He decided to take the "wonderful" Police test for the "Greatest City in the World". At 23 he really liked his job and still does. I don't mind it either UNTIL every two weeks I see his pay check. I left my job about 4 years ago once my mom could not watch our child anymore. It does not pay to go to work just to pay for day care and now I would have to pay for two kids which would be CRAZY $$. Let me fast faward a bit and tell you why I need to BLOG! I am absolutly disgusted in the way that police officers are treated and paid....is there no shame in people who run there contracts? How and who can live of $58,000 a year (roughly). A family of 4 like us can not. How can you have these Police Officers that are protecting there city working with NO CONTRACT since 2004...thats right you heard me NO CONTRACT! Do we remember 9-11 and what these Police Officers did for us? Do we remember that everyday they leave the house the leave families at home and don't know if they will return to see them? They sacrafice there lives and yet don't even get a decent pay check. Police Officer signed up to protect not starve to death!

Cut her some slack anonymous, she is crazy with hunger, you know trying to live on a cops salary.
Anonymous...you must not be a cop otherwise you would cut the girl some slack cause she is just venting and seems like she has her hands full with her kids and her husband working for a city that does NOT pay....respect the "JOB" and their family!! BTW she spelled the word correctly!!!
